A Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime
People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
You will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a Reason . . .
It is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty,
To provide you with guidance and support,
To aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are!
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time,
This person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die.
Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realise is that our need has been met,
Our desire fulfilled, their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered.
And now it is time to move on.
When people come into your life for a Season. . .
Because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it! It is real! But, only for a season.
Lifetime relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
Things you must build upon in order
To have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
And put what you have learned
To use in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.

I hope you enjoyed the message.
Just as everything happens for a reason,
Everyone is part of your life for a reason!
Love & Blessings

Oh, in that case.....lol.....
Between the fifth and sixth days, some smart assed angel created Twinkies, hence the term, "...And on the sixth day, God created Man..."
Your colleague's SOLE purpose on this planet is to devour as many Twinkies as humanly possible within a lifespan. The person that has consumed the most Twinkies at the time of their passing (even though they're not supposed to know), gets a free pass into Heaven. No confessing, no professing, no reconciling.
Tell him I'm in my thirties and I'm already at 7,139...and since they come in packs of two, I'll be at 7,140 by the end of this answer. Better Hurry!!!
P.S. VERY IMPORTANT---Zingers do not count, they're impostors (I think from the Devil)...Good luck, and good eating.

If you're religious, you're sent on a mission by God; he is judging whether you are good enough to get into heaven.
If you're not religious, like me--you are a person who will make something of life. It's like asking, why do people go on rollercoasters if it ends in 2 minutes, what's the point....the point is that it's fun! Life is a rollercoaster. Enjoy every minute of it and make the most of those valuable moments. So don't waste anymore time pondering about it. Why does life have to have a "meaning"? Meaning is merely something your mind assigns to things. Go on. Live life. :)

To put ur colleague out of his misery, I'd say give him a nice HUG n say, life is all about spontaniety and variety. Knowing what you will be doing at any given point of time takes the charm out of life....

Meaning of life is what we give to it.By itself. life is just a biological process. as good/bad as for all other living forms.Historically, all societies have developed a concept which entails growing up and taking on activities related to some kind of wealth generation, marry, have children and keep on contributing towards our obligations towards the society like charity, service to deserving, cooperation etc. Each individual has to refine and work out details for his own life. Our guiding thought should always be based on reciprocity ie to pay back to sources which helped sustain us.

I think this is fundamentally different for everyone. No one can really tell your friend the meaning of life. He needs to discover that for himself.
To me however, it is knowledge and understanding. Both for personal reasons and to help others. I would suggest helping your friend to discover what life means to him by helping him find something he really believes in.
Best of luck to both of you.
