If you haven't done it already, you should go to this link and join the official fan club. It provides newsletters, an extract of the 3rd chapter of the 3rd book (exciting stuff!) and other great features. Its a must for all Paolini fan's.

Hopefully we won't be too long in finding out the release date. Have a star for your question.

shurtugal.com is the best place for news and information about the Inheritance Trilogy. It's very accurate and reliable.

The planned date of the release is sometime in 2008, but the official guess is the summer of 2008.

The title "Empire" for the book is not official, by the way, it's just a guess at the name of the book.

There is not a known release date.
There have been clues,
and the author implies that it has been written,
but no one knows for sure.

In the meantime, why don't you read
(1) The last empress
(2) The maytrees

There is no date as of yet for "Empire". The book is written and in the hands of the publisher. I would guess somewhere around Christmas.

No set date but it will probably come out somewhere in the next five years. Besides it will be worth the wait. I am waiting as well.
