OK here is part 3 to you don't know what you don't know. Russia is also shipping in weapons by the truckloads into Iran. There is also a underground rumor circulating that troops are deploying to Washington DC and they are from Operation Noble Eagle. Google it yourself. Why well thats a matter of much speculation but many are saying that something big is getting ready to happen. If it is a war with Iran there is a good possibility that Martial Law will be declared overthrowing the constitution and the draft will be reinstated without congressional consent. If all this is true Bush needs to guard his a$$ up there in Washington.
Peace

I have been aware of this for a few days, The Iranians have been shelling in the Kurdistan region shelling a remote area where a Kurdish-Iranian political/guerrilla group has been operating against Iran. While a serious development the State Department has not made any reference to this due to the diplomatic dance currently underway. Note France has threatened action against Iran. Note Bibi Natanyahu is now head of Likud and elections are approaching. Something is going to happen to Iran. Note larger bunker busters have been fitted to the B-2 30,000 pounders. My crystal ball is murky at this moment as to when. Note senior Quds force have been captured in Baghdad.

And Turkey invaded Iraq earlier this year (same reason as Iran gave for its shellings). The fact is there is a lot of problems in the region that aren't being reported...Iran is not the worst. That goes to the brutal dictatorship of Saudi Arabia.

Actually Iranian participation in the Iraqi war has been in the news for some time, the Bush admin has made it so. Are you surprised? We invaded a nation next to Iran. Iran wishes to influence the outcome there, quite naturally. This is why, in fact, invading Iraq is/was a foreign policy mistake of epic proportions: we have destabilized a shaky but important region with no certain outcome.

As I said in my last answer to your last question, I am not afraid to expose my ignorance, that's how I learn.

I was not aware of this situation, although it really does not surprise me a bit. I think it is more proof that the government of Iran is a threat, and that we will be seeing more trouble to come from them.

As to what to do about it, I will leave that to those "in the know" who have the complete information and experience to deal with it, and I will resist the urge to armchair quarterback. ;-)

I do know I don't care for your smug, doofy way of making a point.

And did you know that the same people that Iran is firing at,the PKK,is the same group of people that the United States,Iraq, and Turkey have agreed that U.S. and Iraqi forces will start fighting in order to forestall an invasion by Turkey?

Or was this something you didn't know?

By all means, sign up for the millitary, sign your kids up if you have them, reinstitute the draft, and let's kick some butt. Until then, I don't want to hear another Republican talking about pre-emptive invasions.

Interesting, I'd like to see a link or something to your source because I'd love to read about this.
I'm wondering what they are targeting, because artillery can only go so far, and it's not like Iraq is overly populated.
