A British police sitcom that I sorely miss. :(
What was your favourite moment? I loved the bit in "ISM ISM ISM" where Fowler was talking about racism, and pretended to be a martian called "Constable Zog". He says to Goody something like:
"Bibble bibble boop hello blip blip my name is Constable Zog bibble bob blop bloble I will be on patrol with you today blop boop boop I hope we will be friends ... haaaah ... and what would your rection be, Goody?"
And Goody is just like :O
Dreyfus's facial expressions alone were worth buying the DVD. :)

The whole series was excellent and very cleverly scripted and I would love it to rerun on Free to View system.
The funniest moment has to be when Habib is undercover as a prostitute working for Fowler and she is bought in by the person they were trying to arrest under citizens arrest.
Why cant channel four buy it and show it instead of the AWFUL Big Brother.
I think all the Big Brother shows are awful and Big Brother's Little Brother, I cant wait for Big Brothers End to ***.

I vaguely remember an episode where Rowan Atkinson's character's wife gets involved in an environmental protest. I thought that was the funniest one. The way she plays him off against the handsome tree-hugger.

Yes I too loved the series, so long ago its hard to remember individual episodes...loved Rowan Atkinson and the girl who played his partner (were they married?) May get the series out on DVD to refresh my memory...sure there was something about his being taken hostage...but not sure..but thanks for bringing it to my attention again...must watch it.

where they all prerend to be in court where goody is in the box and the inspector fowler has a mop on his head, had me in stitches.
besides that they are my favotites.....
