Preferential tax rate on dividends?

Does anyone know if the preferential tax rate (15%) on dividends for C-corporation will be extened beyond 2008?

Nobody can know this. That would be being able to predict Congress. Remember: one thing that Congress does not have the power to do is to bind a future Congress to a course of action. Laws can and do change.
