You can't, you can only protect the art you created using the art form. Unless it is a device that produces that particular art form but yet again you can only patent the device.

You're going to have to edit your question to include more information, if you want an answer. What is it made of, what does it need to be protected from, etc. And what you mean by "I have discovered", i.e. do you mean FOUND or actually invented. Or, do you mean copyright protection, not physical protection.
