My husband and I lived of 20 thousand per year with under $500 in credit card debt..we live on a budget..shop at discount food stores, buy second hand or on sale clothing, and live within our means...finding a bargain and saving money becomes like a high after a while

There are two programs you can watch about surviving with the minimum.
One is on Nat Geo. A guy that travels around a country (different locations) and only starts his trip with $10 bucks.
And on A&E there is a program about how to survive in a city with less than minimum wage.

I figure you could get by with just 10-15 dollars a month. If you lived in the woods. Please remember it has only been in the last hundred years or so that you needed very much money to live.
Now to live a decent life, probably, 40-50k a year depending on where yo ulive.

People making minimum wage find a way to live on 12k a year (before taxes). Im sure its pretty tough, but its do-able if you are good with money and willing to make sacrifices.

50 thosound...all I need is food bills, and clothes..plus I'd be by my slef..with the whole family I would need 100 thosoud

about $15,000 per year...it's pretty hard. make sure you don't have car payments or a mortgage. I've done it....
