Did everyone in the original Order of Phoenix die by the end of the last Harry Potter book. If I remember correctly, the members were: Harry's parents, Neville's parents, Sirius, Lupin, Petigrew, and Dumbledore. Am I missing someone? Was Mad-eye a member too? He didn't survive anyway. Did anyone in the original Order of Phoenix survive?

Honestly, I do think that it is the best one yet. The new director did an outstanding job. I was disappointed, though. There were many parts of the book that was left out or changed in the movie. For instance, in the book Harry practices Occlumency with Snape a lot, however, in the movie, they only had two short meetings (that we are aware of.) Also, Harry finds Snape's penseive (sp??) and goes into his worst memory. I was so excited to see that part, but the 3 blurry seconds they showed of it left me disappointed. Also where was the spinning room with all the doors in the Department of Ministries, or the gooey swamp Fred and George created that Umbridge gets trapped in? And what about Quidditch? There was no Quidditch in this movie. Again, the effects in this movie were great as was the main story line, however so much stuff was left out or changed and that bothered me. Also, where was Firenze? Does he not teach a class in this book?? He was not in the movie at all. Also, James and Harry, besides the glasses and Gryffendor robes, look nothing alike. In fact, James looks like Chad Michael Murray.

Neville's parents are still alive...but honestly they hardly count. I don't mean to be harsh but they might as well be dead. Other than that, everyone in the original order of the phoenix did die.

Mad Eye was in the order. I think there were also a few others that were mentioned, but were not a part of the series. And, it seems they all died by the end, except for the Longbottom's, who will never be right again. I never realized that before. I wonder if JK did that on purpose?

The Longbottoms aren't dead they're in Saint Mungo's permanent spell damage ward. They were tortured by Bellatrix with the Cruciatus Curse to the brink of insanity......Bella rarely manages to disappoint......
