I'm not sure thats true. Wouldn't the definition of "most" be a majority....meaning 51% of more. I have a hard time believing even 10% are guilty of that.

Of course, I really have no contacts with military types....so correct me if I'm wrong. Sad if true though....

Ladies....they have guns! Know what I mean.

Actually...yes a lot of men do when they return from a long deployment...unfortunately there are men who have not learned to control their anger or deal with their issues in an appropriate manner...being a former Marine, I know that all too well from the experiences of men I served with...

Something I will never understand is why I man would ever do that...kinda makes chivalry look dead doesn't it?

But in reality, there are many more who do not....

I think it's the individual and nothing to do with the military...I live in a "base town" and haven't heard of it from any of my friends who are in military families. My son plans to join the Air Force so I sure hope not.

The last 5 guys that I've dated have all been Air Force and none of them have ever shown signs of being that way. If anything those that I've dated have been non-communicative.

maybe after returning? my friend returned from Iraq and he's a bit nutty now...PTSD i guess. My uncle had it from Vietnam too. But I don't know about beating their wives...i guess anything is possible. different people do different things when they've been through traumatic experiences.

Wow, I hope not...people look up to our guys in the military...we sure in the hell don't need any wife beaters in the military......if that is the case, maybe our government needs to do something to help these families......

No this is definitely not true, there are always exception as with all of society. More so we are non-communicative to, and over protective of the women we love.
