I want to make a great mix CD for my husband. He loves classic rock music. The CD will be part of the gift I'm giving him for our 5 year wedding anniversary so I'd like it to be sentimental as well. Any suggestions on lovey classic rock songs. I'm really not into classic rock but I know he'll hate a CD (no matter how "sweet") if it isn't his music taste.
Thanks!

To be more specific, I'm looking for Van Halen, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin style music. Not Beatles. He likes the fast paced rock.
Thanks!

Fast paced classic rock with love themes? Try The Tea Party"s first 2 albums(A Midsummer's Night and The Edges of Twilight) for starters. Both are beautiful albums.
Now if you really want to make his day introduce him to the best classic rock band that you never heard of- Masters Of Reality and Chris Goss' other projects, Unkle, Goon Moon, The Desert Sessions.
Also I Love You(produced by Chris Goss) is another good one if you can find it.They put out a self-titled one and All Of Us.
I'm a fan of the 60's and 70's classic stuff and i think that this stuff retains the spirit and is just as good if not better than some of the bands you listed.
Cool idea for an anniversary gift. Good luck with it.
