He buys alcohol once a week, nothing strong, but enough. I do worry about it, but its not my place to mention it. I am not one to tell people what to do. Long story--short of it--was married before and got hurt emotionally and verbally. No name calling or hitting. Just certain things said. However, I learned to keep my mouth shut.

So he has to be nearly 3 sheets to the wind in order to have sex? And you accept this out of him? It should be your place to mention his alcohol consumption. You live together right? By keeping your mouth shut your guy will continue to bring home the alcohol and will liquor himself up to have sexual relations with you...what does that say about you??

You need to get out of the relationship... You don't have to tell him what to do, but you do need to stand up for yourself. Your safety comes first! There was a reason your last marriage ended... Now end this relationship too and find someone who will treat you right. You don't deserve to be abused, in any way, shape, or form! This guy that you're with now isn't worth your time, or worth you getting hurt again...
