They never ring when you expect them to, the one person who you want calling you never does. On the other hand all the wrong people seem to be calling you when all you want is to sit down and enjoy the silence.

Yeah, I'm here at work trying to YA and the darn thing keeps ringing & my employees keep bothering me. Don't they know I'm BUSY??!!

I agree with you. I took the phone out of my bedroom for that very reason - its annoying. And, if I wanted to talk on the phone, I wouldn't be in bed, I'd be on the phone. What I hate the most is when I've been watching a good movie and the phone rings during the last 5-10 minutes of it.

Not the telephone as a whole but most assuredly the cell phone is the biggest pain in the you know what that exists today. Why do people have to stay in constant contact with each other? I think that's why kids have a hard time maintaining friendships. Too close to people!

My ringers are off, and the caller ID makes it very easy to phone people back even if they don't leave a message. I hate phones. When I'm out in public and my phone is on vibrate, people will hear it and say, "Hey, your phone is ringing." Yeah, and I don't have to answer it.

No the door bell.You don't have to answer the phone if you have caller id and know who it is. When someone is at the door it's kinda hard to ignore them.

That's what caller ID is for. If you don't want to talk to them don't answer. And if you want to talk to them you just give them a call. I don't sit and wait for anyone to call if I want to talk to them bad enough I give them a call.

Yep..thats why I dont really have my friends call me..aleast over the summer..during school..the phone wont shut up..
