Lube is not dangerous, but doesn't taste good. Try a fruit flavored lube, like strawberry or banana. These are available at sex stores or online.

Obviously if it's ok to put on and inside your sex organs it's ok to consume orally, but not recommended as it's not overly tastey.

But after a few licks and sucks the lube will dissipate and you'll be ok once the bad taste is gone.

I would try to avoid using lube if you are having oral sex,but if it can't be avoided wipe off the access lube with a towel or tissue and proceed with the oral!

The only time I would suggest you refrain from oral after lube is if the lubricated penis was used for anal sex first. In this case wash the penis thoroughly before oral.

Eating lube won't harm you, it just doesn't taste very good. They make flavored lubricant to avoid this.
