Cool, get them, but also buy two flexible rulers. Then you could position the fish on the end of the ruler and flip the fish in the air. You could even invent a game called flipper fish (geddit?) and if it became popular you could represent us at the Olympic flipper fish final.

If you afford the proper system to house these fish and afford the upkeep then go for it. Please don't put goldfish in a bowl. Goldfish will need at least 10 gallons per fish. So if you want two that means the smallest tank would be a 20 gallon. Realize these fish when housed properly can live a LONG time. longer than dogs. So if you can afford the proper setup and plan to take on the responsibility for their entire lives then keeping goldfish can be very rewarding. Do some research befor buying any animal. Learn to properly care for them for example how big they get, what they eat, what type of maintenance will you have to do and how often. Learn about what filtration is best for them and what temperature and pH do they prefer. Learn about the nitrogen cycle and gather any info you can in order to keep these fish happy and healthy. Ill be happy to answer any of these questions i brought to your attention but just want you to do some research on your own as well because if you plan to keep fish it will be constsnt research on the age old question "whats wrong with my fish?" sometimes you will need to figure things out on your own so just trying to prepare you for whats in store when it comes to maintaining fish as a pet. Hope this helps and feel free to email me and i can go into detail about any questions you may have.

Ohh Goldfish. They are cool. I have good advice for you.
1. DO NOT under any circumstance put them in a bowl. Goldfish need oxygen that comes with an air pump. They are very messy and they will die on their on waste in a fishbowl, also if you put them in a bowl it will stunt their growth.
2. For 2 goldfish try a 25-30 gallon tank. If you think that the tank looks too empty get small compatible Tank mates.
3. They are COLD-WATER fish and like the temperature under 77 °F and above 50 °F. (Research for the accurate temperature)
4. Goldfish are omnivores and eat flake food, they may get bored with the food if you use the same old food for EVERY feeding.
5. They can last more than 10 years with good care.
6. Don't tap on the tank- THEY HATE THIS.

If this is just a whim, no. Goldfish, like any other pets have to be looked after.
Get a book, read a bit about their care, speak to someone in the pet shop and if you still want them and have got the space (and money) to set up a reasonably sized aquarium-NOT a goldfish bowl, then go ahead. Otherwise leave well alone.

Okay, sounds good. Do a little research before you get them, some species of those require big tanks to properly house them. Keeping fish is a big commitment, but it's also very rewarding.

Do some research first, they need at least 10 gallons each and they need a filter.
Goldfish are very messy fish and need lots of water.
remember to let your tank cycle before adding fish
Here`s how

if you are looking for a pet that is easy to care for you should go for goldfish, but you need to do a little bit of research first just to make sure that you know how to set up you tank and how often to feed them and things like that.

Make sure you have at least a 15g tank (for one goldfish) with very good filtration before you buy one. Those guys are really messy eaters and they make a lot of poop. They need the extra space.
