It seems like no matter what the Republicans do, or how bad the track record for the front runner is, they will still vote for them? My question is why....

The difference is that when a republican gets caught doing something naughty (sometimes not even illegal) they'll step down. When a democrat gets caught, they get re-elected.

To ret rock cop - I'm surprised that you state that you would vote for Giulani and criticize the Clintons for being dishonest in their personal and poltical lives.

Well, there are few politicians who have been dishonest and dishonorable in both realms of their lives as Rudy Giulani. Look at how he humiliated his ex-wife (and children) by openly parading his affair by going out with his lover on Mother's Day, no less. He smeared the victims of police brutality, Dorismund and Diallo by attacking their backgrounds instead of calling for calm and a even handed investigation. He can't share the spotlight with any person who has done well in his administration - he eased out a police chief who implemented effective policing techniques that helped reduce crime rates in NYC. A successor police chief buddy of his, Bernard Kerik, had ties with organized crime, and furnished and bought an apartment with questionable funds. And Rudy even hired Kerik to work on his consulting firm after his term!

Look, Rudy was finishing out his mayoral term in a cloud when 9-11 came around and thrust him into the spotlight. And even Rudy couldn't rest - he tried to take advantage of the 9-11 incident to attempt serving a 3rd term (not possible under the current by laws) but fortunately that didn't happen.

Nice red herrings you have there, ret roch cop and civil av8r.

Let's all spin the question onto Democrats.

I'll rephrase the question for our asker.

Just how bad would a Republican candidate have to be before a GOP loyalist would not vote for him or her?

Doubtful. We're not Democrats who seem to justify any perversion.

I support Giuliani. A better question is why people like you choose to support people like the Clintons who have shown themselves to be dishonest in both their personal and private lives. You look at them like they're gods, and they're nothing but criminals and pederasts.
