They will end up in the Top 20 but closer to the 20 than the top. The reason is they have too many holes to fill on offense and they are not tested by a good team until late in the season. Their first 7 games are cream puff teams and then the stuff hits the fan. They could easily lose 3 of their last 5 games.

I can see Ohio St. going 10-2 or 11-1, the only lost i see for them is the Michigan game or the Wisconsin game, but i think the only real reasonably lost is the Michigan game because it's at an away game. But the title game is a reach because too many players lost to the NFL draft. But Ohio St will be one of the top team in 2008-2009.

Well after looking at there schedule, I see 8 easy wins, if they drop any of them, then the season won't look to good. Out of the last 4:
Minnesota
Penn State
Wisconsin (Home game)
Michigan

It's gonna be tough playing 3 out of 4 on the road and come unscathed. So, best case scenario, I would say 10-2 with a good shot at a BCS bowl.

They will finish 3rd maybe even 4th in the Big 10. They are still plenty talented; but I think they are going to have some trouble replacing 3 WR's that they lost and some of their defensive playmakers. Chris Wells will have a great season; but I just don't beleive in their QB Todd Boekman.

They won't beat Michigan this year. They won't beat Wisconsin. They will have a tough time against Penn State because they play Joe Pa's crew away. But other than that their schedule is pretty manageable. They might slip up against Minnesota, Purdue, Washington, or Michigan State; but its unlikely.

I think 9-3 will be their record.

The top 50 teams make bowls. There's no way OSU isn't in that group. Thats either wishful thinking or a complete lack of knowlege about college football. I don't see how they can compete for the title, the D will be good but they have to replace their entire passing game.

You guys in Australia can watch NCAA football on TV? Is it on Cable? Just curious. I just moved here, I don't have a TV. But reading these posts, make me home sick.
Go Buckeyes!

With any luck the NCAA will come down hard on them. They are criminals and they must be punished. They will finish in 3rd or fourth place in the Big Ten. Michigan will play in the BCS title game and lose to USC 49-3.

The Bucks will be better than people think. Its gonna be like 2002 all over again. The defense will be better, the offense will make few mistakes and they will run the ball down other teams throats. I think OSU will finish 11-1.

They have a young squad and a new QB. The defense will be good though.

I would think they will make one of the BCS bowl games.. possible 3rd or 4th.
