Honestly this is coming from a man, any man who goes into a strip club is being unfaithful to his wife, because he is commiting adultery against his wife in his heart, by looking at another woman's body other than his wife's. Her body SHOULD be the ONLY woman's body he should have ANY desire to look at.

There are a couple of reasons married men cheat, or anyone for that matter....

1. The rush
2. Knowing they can do it, and wont get caught
3. There is something missing in their life and this replaces it.... even if for a little while
4. It was something to do when the spouse was out of town

So on and so on. There is no understandable reason to the other side as to why it happens. As for trust, you can forgive and try to forget, but once trust has been broken, it will constantly be in the back of your mind when they don't answer their cell phone, when they come home late from work, when they want to do something with some friends on the weekends, etc. So if it happens, all you can do is try to forgive, if you can't forget, then that is what an at fault divorce is for. There is life after divorce, and you'll actually end up meeting the person of your dreams. One that treats like royalty. I just hope that if this happens you wont walk all over them or take advantage of it.

A married man cheats because there is an underlying reason that he is not happy at home. Either the wife ignores his needs, doesn't feel that she needs to pay attention to him (now that she's caught him), or she thinks he'll accept anything that she dishes out and be grateful for it. If you don't pet the dog, it won't stay on the porch.

As far as strip clubs being cheating - I don't think so. Men are very visual creatures. Just because you're on a diet doesn't mean you can't look at the menu.

Let's get one thing straight - going to a strip club is a LOT different than cheating. A strip club can be nothing more than a night out with the guys. And unless the married man goes there with the intention of meeting and hooking up with someone, he's not cheating, any more than a woman would be if she enjoys watching the pool boy, or some one in the grocery store, or someone in a movie.

As to why they go - probably because it's a chance to go out with the guys, to kick up their heels a bit, and to do something a little wild and crazy. But probably 95% know that they won't do anything more than drink beer and stare. But just looking is a poor substitute for the real thing, IMHO. If you're worried about your guy going, that's a pretty good hint about how to make sure he comes home after...

As to why they cheat - I can't tell you, I've never cheated on my wife.

Men cheat because they can. If the situation presents itself half will take the plunge. Some will do it only when they are in a bad part of their relationship, but will still do it if the conditions are right. THe strip club thing is just to hang out, and it is better than seeing it in a magazine. These are places men can go just to drink and hang out with a view. Some get more from it than others.

i personally feel that most men (and i know women will deny this, but its a fact!) will seek sexual gratification in any way shape or form. Strip clubs, internet, movies. When men want it, they want it. I am not advocating this logic, but a wife that can get creative will definately side track their man from this crap. The question is: are you more exiting, or is the world we live in more exciting?

strip club is cheating, i agree. thats to desire someone else and thats being unfaithful. i am married and if i would see a man that is tempting to me i would walk out the door, because thats the first step of being not comitted, my husband knows my opinion on this. its either all or nothing for me and always have been.

Men and women both go outside of their relationships for satisfaction if they are not finding their needs met within that relationship. Communication with a spouse is a must and I find that those who are facing affairs and so forth are couples who have not vocalized their expectations of one another.

Cheating and going to strip clubs are two completely different acts. Cheating is unforgiveable; going to a strip club is just entertainment. Obviously, you see it as comparable to cheating but I actually go along with my guy and find it fun.

is this fantasy land? a man will want to look at most womens bodies, it doesnt mean he will try and cheat, i dont see the point of spending big bucks on a strip club but i dont see it as cheating unless they are trying to hire a stripper for personal use
