If I were you, I'd start checking prices for flights and rooms regularly (every other week or so) until you find out what a "good" price is. Once you know that then start checking for that good price in February for your vacation in June. I usually book flights when I find a good price - JetBlue from Dulles is frequently $99 each way. I wait to book the rooms until I find the right hotel at the right price. I subscribe to email promotions for my favorite hotels in Vegas and I usually book these deals for myself - Venetian for $139/night, Mandalay Bay for $89/night, NYNY for $89/night etc. These are what I consider to be great rates. If you can be flexible about where you stay then you can always find great prices. Consult a travel agent if you need help booking your hotel - it shouldn't cost you anything and they'll be able to find the best rates for you.
One more helpful hint - check Orbitz, travelocity etc and then go to the individual hotel's website and see what the price difference is. Always book at the hotel's website if you can because those reservations can be canceled or changed up until 3 or fewer days prior to your arrival.

Book your hotel room NOW or as soon as possible, and book your room through the hotel not a travel web site.
It costs you nothing to book now, and you are assured of a good rate no matter what. In LV you never know when they are going to book a major prize fight or some such. Which would drive the room rates through the roof.
You can always keep looking for a better rate, and if/when you find a better rate, cancel the first reservation and make another.
There is absolutely NO advantage in waiting.
Web site for every hotel in Las Vegas

A couple of web sites to compare rates
http://www.travelworm.com
http://www.hotels.com
>Many LV hotels will price match the best rate you can find for their hotel.

try the Gold Coast. Rooms initiate at $39.ninety 5 a night. could be a touch greater with short be conscious. this is not on the Strip whether this is close and that they've a 24hr loose holiday to take you to and from the Strip. The hands and Rio lodges are interior of sight. you could walk to those.
