I hope you are lying.
Edit, That's the kind of thing that makes me weary about having children. It's just not the same as when I grew up. And I'm only 24

That isn't the argument. The argument is that some kids are using "tag" as an excuse to chase and torment kids who aren't even willing participants in the game. Schools all across the country have done this, a few in Colorado are just the most recent.
The problem isn't that we are raising a generation of wimps, the problem is that schools can't do anything to discipline a child any more. Spanking has become child abuse, and even time out is "robbing the student of learning opportunities." If the schools cannot adequately discipline the kids, then they have to get control in other ways. I have no problem that schools are banning playing tag, but I think it is really sad that they cannot deal with the problems in another way.

Lol. I kind of agree. Well not about the traumatizing kids thats stupid, but at my school all the guys think it will make them get the girls therefore at the start of the day they all spray it on in their lockers which makes the entire school smell like tag or axe....Its disgusting and overwhelming.

I remember the day they banned British Bulldog... we rebelled but got told off cos "you'd hurt yoursleves playing it according to the people in charge even though we (the teachers) don't think it's that bad"
Kids need to go through hurting them selves in safe environments so they can learn what they can and can't do. I don't think any kid ever died from games like that.

i think that it's a great idea. we should protect our precious kids from running around and scraping their knees and elbows. what good does falling down and hurting yourself do? when i was a kid, i used to hate falling down and running and smiling. it was terrible. all the sweat, all the laughing, it was downright decpicable! and the fact that it's discriminating is yet another reason for why we should ban it. kids get chased by bullys and such. that's terrible! why can't kids just get along? adults do it just fine, i mean just look at the world! it's perfect! i think, in order to protect our children and everybody, we should also ban:
-drinking: it discriminates against non-thirsty people who don't want to drink and thirsty people who do want to drink
-eating: discriminates against hungry people
-pooping: discriminates against those with constipation and against those who can't smell
-being a man: discriminates against women and children
-being a woman: discriminates against men and children
-being a child: discriminates against adults
-time: discriminates against people who are late to everything or elderly people who don't have much time left
-haircuts: discriminates against bald people
and the one thing we really do need to ban:
-stupid people who think we should ban stuff like tag: discriminates against people who aren't retarded
