Are the video games "Wild Arms" 1-4 for PS2 RPG's or action?

I've just saw this on amazon.com but it doesn't say what style of game it is and I don't want to get it if it's an RPG or 1st person shooter.

They are traditional turned-based RPGs. Other than a couple of little quirks its like every other cousel RPG at its heart.

Those quirks...
-You can not buy healing items. You must find or grow them. (Status healers are an exception.)
-Characters run around the battle field from 3 on. It doesn't actually change anything, but makes battles look more intresting.
-Characters have 'tools' to use on the map to solve puzzles, which all 4 games have pleanty of.
-Game 4 uses a readicaly differnt battle style than the other 3, head to its wikipedia page for some details.

PLEASE NOTE: Wild Arms 1 & 2 are really for the PS1, not the PS2. Wild Arms 3 & 4 are for PS2. Wild Arms: Alter F (if that is on the list) is a PS2 remake of Wild Arms 1.
