Visual FoxPro is no longer in active development. Microsoft is working on a replacement, code named Sedna. I would suggest that you not spend your time trying to develop applications for an obsolete platform.

Rather, SQL Server (Express Edition) is FREE from Microsoft, and you can use VB.NET or C#.Net, or any other CLR language to develop your own database application using the much more robust SQL engine.
