Definitely Stephen kings "The Dark Tower" Series. It has a little bit of every genre--SciFi, Fantasy, allegory, history, western, etc. A truly amazing accomplishment he calls his "Magnum opus" and I believe it! He even writes himself into the series in a clever way, and the ending will really blow your mind! At least it did mine. Be sure to start with the first book--The revised edition of The Dark Tower: The Gunslinger" it will help tie in with the other 6 books better then the first issue. Hope this helped, Greg

Some children challenge the Mighty Theologians in "Gospel Enigma." It's fun and quite informative. The adventure of seeking a hidden treasure... but no romance.

And you've read them all, huh?
Well, maybe one I've been recommending a lot, "Grendel" by John Gardner, will have all these elements; I think so, with a dash of sad.
I KNOW the one called "A Book Dragon" by Donn Kushner has all that, but it's hard to find... try second-hand, or spending a lot on a paper-back. (It's out-of-print)...
I hope others can help out too; happy reading!!

Try Melanie Rawn's fantasy series The Exiles or you could try Stpehenie Meyer's Twilight series. I didn't think I'd like Twilight, but gave it a try anyway, and to my surprise, they're pretty good.
Hope that helped.
