We, like everyone else, await the results of the forensics from the recent searches. We do not know who has taken Madeleine or why. Sometimes people do things for reasons that even they cannot understand. An act of madness, an accident or sudden impulse can lead to consequences that people may never have imagined or intended. Faced with such a situation we believe any human soul will ultimately suffer torment and feelings of guilt and fear.
If you have done something you regret, if you find yourself in a situation you never intended, it is not too late to do the right thing. Please come forward, return Madeleine, leave her in a place of safety. At the very least, help us by letting us know what has happened to our beautiful little girl.

Perhaps this is a code by Gerry telling the other (s) thats it's about time they came clean because it's almost "game over " for them all.perhaps he doesn't feel safe phoning or emailing so this is his way of communicating.?

The McCann case.What about the syringe found in the apartment with traces of sedative.It is looking more and more likely.But it would not have been intentional murder or manslaughter because the syringe would have been disposed of.I think they did sedate the children,Madeleine would have been asleep when she was taken,or Madeleine could have walked out of the apartment in a disorientated state and wandered into the sea and drowned whilst trying to find her Mum and Dad.The Tapas 9 have a lot of explaining to do.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, this is an appeal to the abductor and/ or to anyone who has info about his Madeleine.
If you & yours have cause or just wish to point fingers at those at the Tapas bar or rather just the 9 friends, well then, don't you think you're narrowing your perspective?
Edit: You can't abduct a child by accident. Gerry McCann always maintained that his Madeleine was abducted.
Is it so very wrong for it to strike him that the abductor may not have meant to harm Madeleine but did so in accident & is now undecided what to do?
And is it wrong of Gerry McCann to try his best, via his blog, to appeal to the abductor with a show of understanding his mindset in a desperate attempt to placate him, in order to gain information about his baby?????
Is that so difficult to understand?
You wait & watch, the truth will prevail, never you fear...

I doubt they were involved in Maddie's disappearance but the McCanns' friends were largely responsible for the disgusting witch hunt against Murat, so I have no sympathy for them at all now the tables have turned.

They are giving the abductor a window of excuse for what had happened- that is all
They are basically saying it's not too late for you to do the right thing now and come forward.

They are appealing to the mentality of the abductor… like what is going through his mind right now
He could be saying (I did not mean it to happen this way) OR (Things have gone badly wrong) etc
They are basically saying whatever excuse you have whether it is an “accident” “Madness” “mistake” etc we can understand and it is not too late now to do the right thing… come forward please
