They have been putting GHM in the position for years now, as soon as he returned from doing his first work experience in business in the UK, they put him in to chair the board of the American and Egyptian business relations. His words to the delegates were "i support all business dealing with America and hope America will prosper from its dealings with Egypt"
Given a statement like that where he clearly shows that the gas and so on..contracts will continue to benefit the USA do you actually think that anyone else would be allowed to take power, especially if that anyone else wanted to do good by the Egyptian people.
