"Love is fuel for the soul/What Elvis was to rock n' roll"
- Dramagods 'Something About You'

New like a baby
Lost like a prayer
The sky was your playground
But the cold ground was your bed
Poor stargazer
Shes got no tears in her eyes
Smooth like whisper
She knows that love heals all wounds with time
Now it seems like too much love
Is never enough, you better seek out
Another road cause this one has
Ended abrupt, say hello to heaven
- Temple of the Dog 'Say Hello To Heaven'

I know everybody here, well, thinks he needs you
Think he needs you
And Ill be waiting right here just to show you
- Jeff Buckley 'Everybody Here Wants You'

The day you were born you were born free
That is your privilege
Isnt it strange that the man standing in front of me
Doesnt have a clue why hes waiting or what hes waiting for
Maybe its me but Im sick of wasting energy
Maybe if I look in my heart, I can find a back a door
Find yourself a back door

Between Angels and Insects- Papa Roach
There's no money, there's no possessions
Only obsessions, I don't need that ****
Take my money, take my obsession
I just want to be heard, loud and clear are my words
Comin' from within man, tell 'em what you heard
It's about a revolution in your heart and in your mind
You can't find the conclusion, life-styule and obsession
Diamond rings get you nothing but a life long lession
And your pocket-book stressin'
You're a slave to the system, working jobs that you hate
For that **** you don't need
It's too bad the world is based on greed
Step back and stop thingking about yourself
Start thingking about
There's no money, there's no obsession
Only obsession, I don't need that ****
Take my money, take my obsession
Take my obsession, I don't need that ****
Cause everything is nothing and emptiness is in everything
This reality is really just a ****** up dream
With the flesh and the blood that you call your soul
Flip ti inside out, it's a big black hole
Take your money, burn it up like an asteroid
Posssessions they are never gonna fill the void
Take it away and learn the best lession
The heart, the soul, the life, the passion
Present yourself press your clothes
Comb your hair and clock-in
You just can't win
Just can't win
The things you own, own you
that song rlly spoke to me

As sappy as this may be, Creed's "With Arms Wide Open" is really well written. The last lines before the last chorus are probably the most I've ever been choked up by a song while playing it. There's so much emotion behind, and if you ever have seen the Behind the Music about Creed that song is really touching to Scott Stapp. Oh, and "Purple Rain" by Prince. That does without saying, amazing song. Those two came right off the top of my head as I thought about it.

A section from Linkin Park's 'Hands Held High':

My brother had a book he would hold with pride
A little red cover with a broken spine.
On the back, he hand wrote a quote inside:
"when the rich wage war, it's the poor who die"
And meanwhile, the leader just talks away
Stuttering and mumbling for nightly news to replay
and the rest of the world watching at the end of the day
both scared and angry like "what did he say?"

How true is that?

Middle by Jimmy Eat World
"Live right now
Yeah, just be yourself.
It doesn't matter if it's good enough
For someone else"

Everywhere by Michelle Branch
"'Cause every time I look
you're never there
And every time I sleep
you're always there "

Brighter than sunshine by Aqualung
"What a feeling in my soul
Love burns brighter than sunshine
It's brighter than sunshine
Let the rain fall, I don't care
I'm yours and suddenly you're mine
Suddenly you're mine"

Im sure I have alot to name which are very beautiful,
but I can't think of any.

I saw red by Warrant

If that song doesn't make you cry I don't know what will.

Oo it must be magic
How inside your eyes
I see my destiny
Every time we kiss
I feel you breathe your love so deep inside of me
And if the moon and stars should fall
They'd be easy to replace
I would lift you up to heaven
And you would take their place

Then I saw red
When I opened up the door
I saw red
My heart just spilled on to the floor
And I didn't need to see his face
I saw yours
I saw red then I closed the door

I don't think I'm gonna love you anymore

And do I take you by the hand
And lead you through the land
