DO NOT confuse system RAM on the motherboard with videoram on the graphics card. They perform different functions in the PC. They need NOT BE THE SAME type.

Also consider a better video card. The 6200 is getting outdated. Check out the 7300GS AGP.

that each and every physique sucks, and for with regard to a similar value, you could improve to 512mb of 667mhz ddr2. Oh, and particular, they are all well matched, yet will run on the backside ram's velocity. All ram is backwards well matched. 1066mhz ram will artwork on the quickest velocity a motherboard alows, all the way all the way down to 400mhz, that's the slowest ddr2. you do not would desire to purchase from ibm. all ram is the same, and the guaranty on the pc doesnt actual guarantee something that can break. ibm SUCKS.

You don't have to worry about a thing, because the 512 is for your computer, and the 256 is what the video card will use to display things.

They are seperate!

If your Mother Board Supports video card means ram is not a problem

the 2 sets of ram will not interact with each other directly, you have no problem there but you should check that your PC has an ASP 8x slot, it probably does but that is the most likely problem you could have.
