I am going to be in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday morning and I need a translator to help me deal with Customs. I would appreciate some help. Anyone interested in a days work?

My brother-in-law is a shipping broker and deals with customs all the time. He's in Hanoi, but he can probably help you out more than just a translator can. If necessary, my wife can be a translator for you (she's in HCMC right now). Call my brother-in-law first:
