Yeah, I know. I thought saying "investing in stock in....." sounds kinda weird so I just says "investing stock in....."

No where close. Malaysian stocks are not held to US reporting standards, so you don't know what you're getting. They are quoted in local currency, so if you're in the US, you are introducing currency risk. The stock could go up in local currency, but you lose on the exchange when you try to get your money out.

you dont invest stock, you invest in stock(s). depends. in us, some foreign corps trade as american depositories. same thing basically, but price can vary a little. us market has most volume, liquidity, usually.
