Hell no!!!
There is a time & place for children's activity and this ain't it!
You would be wise to stop your children from going on here as it is not appropriate or even designed for young & impressionable minds.
Anyone under the age of 16 really ought to surf more youthful websites.
I'm sure there are plenty out there to choose from, am I right?

Don't know if I can be of any help, but I hope my perspective gives you something. I am a woman and I actually agree with you. My daughter's father and I get along fabulously. She is 11 and he has been paying child support since she was born. Recently he let me know that he was having some financial difficulties so I actually cancelled our support order. Yes, CANCELLED! I recently got married and my husband and I have a daughter together. We are doing well and I didn't see any point in trying to break him. He still does a TREMENDOUS amount for his daughter. He spends a lot of time with her as well, as sometimes that's way more important than how much money he can give her. About a week ago, I found out the State suspended his license because they said he was behind in payments. I actually went online to my account with the Child Support office and printed every statement for the last year up until I cancelled the order. I then faxed it to the State so they would reinstate his license since it was THEIR mistake. It sickens me these women that sit around and just have babies by 3-4 different men so they can get a check from each one of them. Then they never attempt to settle down with ANY of them because that would mean their Section 8 government housing would go bye bye. I feel your pain. And I wish more women showed more compassion. Good luck. And I hope your situation works out.

I don't think a child should be allowed on this website since there are so many "polite" people that ask or answer question that can be offensive or obscene in nature. There are even some explicit pictures.

Not all people ask that question... Anyway just keep an eye out on them because if the question is related to school or the child's idea it is on your choice...
Believe me as growing up the child has to reflect everything he/she learns based on how the information and advice give by their parents, right??

well... there's really not much one can do to keep a child innocent for too long. I mean I'm 19 so I consider myself not a kid but not as adult as I wanna be. Looking back at elementary, middle, and high school, I've seen ALOT worse than this Yahoo! Answers stuff.

No, kids shouldn't be allowed here. This site may try to be "family-friendly" but it's still on the Internet. Kids should stick with Ask Jeeves or something kid-orientated.

you can't ask anything on here even as an adult. You are likely to get reported and your account suspended. So it doesn't matter if you are an adult or a child, if its offensive it will likely be reported.

Well, anyone younger than 13 shouldn't be participating anyway. This is one of the Community Guidelines.

No I wouldn't. I don't think the internet is a place for children anyway.
