I like "dark rock" and melodic versions of metal... I can't listen to people who are screaming in the whole song!
I'm a big fan of Evanescence and Within Temptation, and I also like HIM (a little bit), Linkin Park... I like the new CD by Marylin Manson (who's singing gothic btw), and I hate Tokio Hotel, although their music in some tracks is very very good. What I don't like in Tokio Hotel is their "starrish" behavior, OK, they succeeded (I wonder how they managed that), but they are not the best band in the world, even not one of the best!...
Oh, and I like Slipknot too!
That's all!

I love metal, but Avenged Sevenfold and (the new) SlipKnoT are too soft. I like grindcore and death metal, like Pig Destroyer, Meshuggah, Hatesphere, As Blood Runs Black, and a bunch of others.

Mallcore, metalcore, nu-metal, and any emo/scene/pop-punk is NOT metal. That means no Slipknot, no My Chemical romance. Seriously. Read up a little bit. Or better yet, listen to actual metal.

avenged sevenfold Is what we like to call listener friendly metal. I go to school with a girl whos cousin is a guitarist in avenged sevenfold. I think his name is like dark gates or sumthing. anyway. In my opinion Thrash Metal is the best!!!
