My personal preference is to use a undertank heat pad for night time only heat and turn the bulb on during the day to achieve the additional daytime temperature. The pads provide belly heat for ground dwellers like stimson's and are better for secretive animals like snakes that often avoid light. They're also less hassle, don't burn out or break and use less wattage.
It's difficult to estimate what wattage bulb you may need without knowing the dimensions of your tank. You may also consider putting the bulb or a ceramic heater on a thermostat control so that you can dial it up or down as needed.

Sounds like you have all you need, it's a good idea to provide two hides, one in the cool end as well.

I would recommend using a proper made reptile enclosure made out of timber and not a completely glass tank. Glass does not hold the heat in effectively enough. You will need a hide box up both end so it can hide in the heat and the cooler part of your tank as well. Also add something to climb on like branches etc. Stimsons love climbing. Also make sure you have your lights hooked up to a thermostat. This way you can set it to a desired temperature and when your tank gets to the desired temperature your lights will go off, when it is under the desired temperature your lights will go on. This way your python won't overheat or get to cold. They are a species from the desert in Australia and I recommend that you have the thermostat turned on to at least 30 degrees celsius. Hope this helps.

I have a Stimson python too :) Mine is also in a wooden enclosure I have a heating rock and a lamp. I think the heat lamp is about 80watts but not sure. The pet shop or breeder should be able to advise you on that one. My heat rock is on constantly and the lamp on during the day. You do need the UVB as they need this to process calcium properly. Some heat lamps do emit UVB again check with the pet shop about which ones/brands. Mine has same temp all year round and so far it hasn't affected him badly, though he doesn't hibernate. The thermometer measures temperature and hydrometer measures humidity. This depends on where you live. The hydrometer I found totally useless but I live in North QLD. Thermometer helps to make sure the tank doesnt get too hot or too cold. Though you should have a gradient across the tank.

For most snakes it us good to use one non heater light and a heat pad (keep the heat pad on one side of the tank). If the underbelly cannot be heated with a heat lamp. And otherwise you have all you need but you can also add in a small half log to him/her to climb on.
