Because they have messed up views about sex. When being taught that 'women have sex for emotional reasons while men have sex for physical reasons' and that 'good girls don't do that!' too many men and women are taught that sex is all about love and emotions especially during marriage. Marriages then lack a basic human need and that is real physical passion. Physical passion or lustful desires is sometimes viewed as a lack of respect, due to screwed up sexual views. This desire for some real passionate and crazed sex leads them to think of sex workers or mistresses where emotions and a guilty conscience over what is 'making love' are no longer heavy baggage. Their wives are prudes or they think it's disrespectful to have wild sex lustful with a wife, but prostitutes? Why, they're just whores! No emotions required and therefore real sex can be done just like in the movies (not necessarily pornography) and history books.

The main social factors that cause these attitudes? Religion, conservative sexual views, anti-feminism and of course the new biggy abstinence only training that focuses on the 'emotional consequences' of premarital sex because this focus warps a persons view of sexuality and sex in general.

***Well in all honesty guys go to prostitutes because they feel like they can get their ultimate desires fulfilled. Men don't think about the consequences that come along with doing this! Actually if men really think about it women are all some form of a prostitute. Just hear me out when your in a relationship and you go on a date and you pay for the dinner/movie or whatever the date is right, and eventually you'll end up in the bedroom and have a great night of sex. but if you have a day to day relationship with no dates then sex seems like a routine that never changes. Now if the man goes to a prostitute they don't have to wine and dine them they pay the money up front and get a night of dirty sex! Notice that some form of money transfer happens for sex to happen! So in conclusion men always end up paying for sex one way or another and if they really want to have great sex and save their marriage don't waste money on prostitutes cause you already have one and don't know it, Hell if my husband forked over 500 dollars I would fulfill his fantasy for him too!!

i have found most of the answer interesting. many have been filled with anger and contempt for men and prostitutes. but i think the why is filled with many reasons. however i personally believe it is because the feel something is missing in there lives. be it affection or just variety or revenge. it is unfortunate that they don't just try to bring that missing part to their relationship. Because i think if their loving partner knew what they wanted she would be more than willing to comply. and as fun as it is with the prostitute. it would be more fulfilling with a partner who truly does care.

for lots of reasons . most of them luv their wives very much but something has happened that they are not being taken care of in the way that they were used to, sometimes its because of menapause, sometimes it could be an illness, or the woman just doesnt want sex anymore.
