Your way too young to be thinking about "the one". Go out and test the waters. Or else you'll be wishing you had later. I got together with my ex when I was 15 and stayed with her till I was 23. I could slap myself for all the tang I passed up. Legally, you only get one chance in life to nail high school chicks. Don't squander it chasing this broad.

I've been there, I know what it is like.
It is easy to fall into the trap of just sulking and feeling sorry for yourself or imagining what coud have been. But don't do this because it really is a trap that is difficult to get out of.
You need to re-discover yourself. What did you used to do for fun before you met her? Get back into that. Or pick up a new hobby. Learn to play an instrument, learn sign language, do anything that will take your mind away from her. Doing something new is great because nothing about it is connected to memeries of the other person - it is all yours.
Have an appearance overhaul. Something as simple as getting a different haircut helps because then when you look in the mirror you see the NEW you, not the old you that is connected to that person.
Explain to her that you may want to be her friend but at least for a little while you need your space. Cut off all contact. I know what it is like, you try to find any old excuse to talk to them DON'T DO IT. You can be friends after you are over her, but not before. Delete their number and their e-mail address. Do it now, it is important.
Open your heart. This is the most difficult part, you need to meet new people and open up your heart. You need to date other people. Give any interested person (within reason) a chace of one date. If you don't feel comfortable after a date then fine, but give them a honest chance.
Also, don't put the other person up on a pedistole, they did have faults. I bet when you think of them you are only thinking of their positive points. I bet you are thinking about how beatiful and perfect they were? Well guess what, they probably aren't all that. Your mind is only letting you remember the good moments but I promise you that once you move on and see them a couple of years from now you will think "What was the big attraction?"

If she doesn't feel the same for you you should accept the facts and be a man. If you develop an obsession for this girl, you will be in mayor trouble.
You're 16, you still have a lot to explore. See your love life as an adventure in which you want to make many people happy. So, a lot of girls out there want to teach you things and want learn things from you. Seize the day.

If she doesn't feel that way let it go of she is going to hurt you once more. Find someone else...She'll then probably become jealous and want you back.

If you can't handle seeing her with other people, then you need to cut ties with her, and move on.
