Mine is Screens
Either TV or Movies. I was watching TV and noticed that every teenage drama has kids popping in and out of their windows like it is a highway. Girlfriends, best pals, enemies, whoever. Anybody who has ever done this has had to mess with the screen and/or storm windows soon learns it is more trouble and noise then is worth or they easily get caught. So what do you notice that is missing to the point of cliche?

When someone knocks on a door and much like the phone point it is answered straight away. Hey thay screens one is good!! Also locks on doors, in many films and tv shows people just walk on in to their houses without unlocking the door.

Good damn point! Never thought of that.

Okay, um, why in movies does the phone only have to ring once, sometimes not even that and the person answers? Has there ever been a movie scene where a character made a phone call and the person didn't answer?!

TV "just happens" to be on right channel.
Something happens, such as a bank robbery, and the thieves turn on the TV when they get back to their home. Sure enough, the TV station is reporting on the robbery they just committed. What are the odds that the exact story that pertains to them is the one being reported? When I turn on the TV, first I would have to do some channel changing, and then sit through some commercials, and "other news."

Speaking of phones, why does a person immediately get a dial tone when they are hung up on? On a real phone you just get silence.
