Think about it, if someone has a large amount of money stashed away but are claiming benefits, do you honestly think it's fair on people like me who works hard and pays taxes to pay their benefits. NO
As for the others who said do not report it, probably because they are on benefits too!!

Yes, it is fraud and could cause them to lose money if and when they get found out because the DWP will take back all illegally gained benefits so it's better to tell them sooner rather than later.
And to all those people who say about not telling, I'm guessing that you're NOT being taxed into poverty because you have a job that pays for all these people who cheat the system.
Tell the necessary people and tell them now. No ifs, no buts remember!

go ahead and report some one you probably are or were friends with. at the end of the day this will make you happy.
but forever and a day you will be a "grass" just remember that.forget all the bollocks you are saving ppl money your not

He still continues to own it. If and when caught for tax evasion he will bee charged as per the rules. It is defenitely reportable.

It is fraud and should be reported. You can report these kinds of things without giving your name so that the offender can't get back at you.

its fraud and theft you are only allowed to have a maximum savings of 6,000 pounds if not decleard you could face a heavy fine plus having to repay any monies you have exepted
