d. trans---prefix for transport. Translocation has to do with pieces of a chromosome jumping to another chromosome. The other two are just assinine. The other person is wrong. Look it up on wikipedia. Tanspiration occurs within a plant. Guttation occurs from inside to out like sap or dew(kind of but not quite).

I am not going to look it up so I would guess translocation! I would assume that is a process of moving something to somewhere else.

I know transpiration is a loss of water, and dried up leaves!

Assimilation I would assume means the process of incorporating something and not necessarilly transport!

I bet it is probably the first one!

Human Biology and Anatomy I know, but plants are different! I have taken it enough times! and Microbiology!
