what do you do? is there anything that can help you fall asleep? i've been trying to fall asleep for like an hour now. this has been happening alot lately. any suggestions?

I do what any sensible wife would do. I make sure my husband also has trouble falling asleep. Just kidding! I just try to get comfy and lie still and breathe. If I can't sleep because I am thinking of too many things, then it's no trouble to turn on some relaxing music and concentrate on listening to that instead of thinking. I also snuggle into my husband, which does unfortunately sometimes wake him up, but he really doesn't seem to mind.

Some people claim that drinking a glass of milk before going to bed helps them quiet down and fall asleep naturally. Don't take any kind of medicines to make you fall asleep unless you have gotten the OK from your doctor. You don't want to go down that road.

i fall asleep after 2 hours! this has been going on for about 2 months... nothing helps but i count down from 100 so it kinda helps but then i lose it and think about something else... i got lots in my mind, cuz the school is starting then there is party tomorrow, then i will have a slumber party, then i think of wat am i going to do wen my dad will go to england :| and i never fall asleep!
So i didnt actually answer your question but i just felt like it so dat you wont be left out :P

Tylenol PM usually works.

I use a comfortable rocking chair to fall asleep in every night.

There is nothing you can do except to close your eyes once you hit the pillow. Don't worry, sleep will come. Watch the play of your thoughts, see what games the mind can play. Just smile and relax. Goodnight!

I just grab my ipod and listen to some soft music that always seems to calm me down. Either that or I go online and read an article about something that interests me until I get tired.

When I cannot sleep, I usually think of the person I love and things that have happened to me that day... Try drinking you a glass of warm milk and call it a night...

Close your eyes and listen nothing but your own breathing concentrate only on your breathing it's a psychological technique try it out there is a chance it will work.
