I watched 15 minutes of 1 episode.

The acting was awful. IT was way over the top, it was like a bad B movie from the 70's. The mixing of real game video with the fake game film was horribly done.
Does ESPN or America really care that much about the Yankees that they had to have a mini series about them? And why 1978? What was so special about it? Why not the 1927 Yankees? At least you might learn something interesting.

Geepers, George Steinbrenner was a dictator, Billy Martin was on the verge of getting fired, Reggie Jackson was egotistical.....I never knew.

I thought the Billy Martin character's ears were a little over the top. I have seen pics of Billy Martin and his ears were no where as large as those.
Also, the George Steinbrener character was sooooooo annoying. He talked, I mean whined like a little kid whose mommy told him he couldn't get a lollipop at the grocery store...through the entire series!!!!
But hey, I'm a Red Sox fan, so my opinion on this matter doesn't really count.

It was pretty good until the last episode. I would have rather have watched an ESPN Classic of the actual game (which I did see fairly recently).

Speaking of running like a girl, I had forgotten about how absolutely ridiculous Ron Cey looked when he ran. He ran with his legs in front of the rest of his body! No wonder they called him The Penguin.
