Do you want to know why I KNOW they will do good next season. It's because the Clipper's added a strong core of young and veteran players into their roster. For starters they drafted Al Thornton, who is athletic and is filled with potential. He will probably be a frequently used bench player, or possibly even start. Also they signed Guillermo Diaz, who greatly improved while playing in the Euroleague. They even got Brevin Knight, who averages 7 assists and 10 points per game. Those are solid numbers for a point guard, and he will be a GREAT backup for Sam Cassell. Not only that, but they got Ruben Patterson who averaged 15 points on the Bucks. He can bring in experience and he's a big man that can replace Chris Kaman when he's not doing so well (which Chris happens to do alot). So here are my reasons why the Clipperse will do good.

I believe! Im also a clippers fan! Clippers for life! Its going to be hard watching the games without Elton Brand, but with Ruben Patterson i think we`ll do just fine!

The Clippers will struggle to win 25 games this year. Sam Cassell is getting older and is slow. Brevin Knight is a solid backup which you're correct and he can get steals. Ruben Patterson isn't a big guy he's a small forward and he's undersized at 6'5 so I don't understand where you think that Patterson could replace Kaman, if anything Al Thornton would be backing up Kaman but he's probably going to replace the injured Brand. So what if you got a Euroleague player he's got no NBA experience. The Clippers are going too have a tough time scoring and playing D. I'm still laughing to myself that you think Patterson is a big guy! What makes him tough is his energy not his heighth because he's actually not that tall.

No. They might do good in the 2009 season. The players have to get use to each other..
