Let's look at this objectively.
In the media, change is good because it is news. Media outlets therefore have a vested interest in change. Most reporters I know are on the idealistic side, which probably means they tilt a little left (although it's not like a newsroom is filled with liberals).
Oddly, though, many of the well-known commentators are conservative. Who gets more attention among political columnists than George Will? There are many others out there who probably lean right. It's easy to guess that media outlets realize that their coverage can be a little liberal, so the op-ed pieces go in the other direction a bit to compensate.

Dont worry, The Daily Show commits alot of time to Republicans. ;)
How can you call it The Liberal Media, especially with FOX, Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, etc.
I guess if i only watched Fox and the above, the rest of the media would seem pretty liberal.
TrogWolf, just to help you out, here is the definition of allegation.

2. an assertion made with little or no proof.

I'm not sure what's the big fuss. Should Republicans get more air time than democrats? Well, then we'll get liberals crying. What should we do? Should we pass law stating democrat and republicans should get exact 50/50 air time? Good like trying to enforce that.
This is trivia, factoid, fun fact. Nothing crazy. It's not end of the world. Liberals aren't going to impose crazy laws and 'kill' babies.
There's probably more white people in news than blacks too. So we're living in liberal biased, racist society I guess then.
Anybody can look up stats, polls and numbers, but I think it takes little more than simply looking at numbers to know what's going on.
TV is business. About money. Trust me if conservative stuff makes money on TV they'll put plenty of them on air. Some of them do so already.

It may be because most folks no longer have any faith in anything that Republicans have to say anymore after the Iraq debacle.
The media is responding to the needs/wishes of viewers, understands that the tide is changing and that the next president will be a Democrat.
Why waste time on the losing party?
It's just not the American way.

Media Research Center is a conservative media watchdog that conducted this study. They weren't going to find anything BUT a so-called "liberal bias" it would go against their own bias.

Have you not seen the FOX News Network of slanted right wing news? You have your messiah in Rush Limbaugh the speaker of truth for the extreme far right. Ann Couter the female version of Rush.

Have you heard the one about the Idaho legislator and the allegations of homosexual conduct?
How can there be allegations of something that isn't illegal?
Why would a liberal media use the word allegation in the context of homosexuality?
What's wrong with this picture?
