I'm so sick and tired of going to shows and seeing people get HONESTLY hurt because all of these screamo and pseudo hardcore idiots don't seem to understand how fun a decent old school pit can be.Once there was a time when the pit had certain rules of conduct and ettiquet(sp?)that most people at the shows respected(Like not throwing spin kicks,closed fists and elbows and maybe picking someone up when they fall).Now you HAVE to hurt people to keep from getting hurt just by standing there and it's making it difficult for a lot of decent bands to get booked into the better venues because you guys seem to be more concerned about law suits than actually doing something to FIX THE ******' PROBLEM!
So having said that,why not make an actual ring made of rubber or something and tell people to go in at their own risk and leave the rest of us alone?Does that make too much sense!?

That's true Gregory,but I don't know anyone who would go to a club just for the expensive food and drinks.You have to have a good band to attract people and my point is that I can't enjoy a good band live when I have to deal with idiots trying out all of the neat kung sockeye s hit they learned in white belt class.
Pits are getting stupid and they need to be made safer.

No kidding. I can't remember the last show I went to when I didn't have some e-tard wearing spikes on their wrist doing tornadoes in the mosh pit with their arms out. Ridiculous.
They should make these clowns wear the big puffy sumo suits. See how rowdy they get then.

Clubs do not make their money off the music. They make their money selling food and drinks at very high prices.
