Close but no cigar..... LSU 48 MSU 3. I think Les Miles will run the score up if he gets the chance. For some reason the pollsters would rather give more credit to weaker teams for beating up on no name schools, than to a close hard fought game between good SEC teams. One that worries me is West Virginia because they have such an easy schedule and can blow out almost every team they play. To stay #2, LSU will need to run up some big numbers every chance they get and I believe Miles knows it.GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

LSU 27.. MSU 14.. I just don't think LSU will look spectacular out of the gate.. they'll be sluggish early and MSU will make it interesting.. LSU historically doesn't play well in sept.. and Mississippi St has alot to prove.. they know the whole world is tuning in to watch them get destroyed so they'll play hard to try to stop it and actually do themselves some justice before fading late due to a lack of depth
