No, there is no such thing as a "wrongful birth" law.
Even if the mother had amniocentesis at around 5 mos and was advised her child could possibly be deformed or have a birth defect, the test results have a low percent of accuracy.
My college roomate had normal amniocentesis at 5 mos. and was advised her baby would be normal, but gave an normal birth after 9 mos. to find out her child was deformed and then died due to defects 3 days later.

Well actually, no. Sometimes it is the birthing experience that causes the condition that becomes disabling. In those case especially, there is no way to know ahead of time that there will be a problem. It isn't like wrongful death suits. Quite different!

That's the hugest load of crap I've ever heard. If you'd rather be murdered in vitro than live the fullest life that you can, your one hell of a pessimist.
Also, no judge would award compensation to a person because their parents were willing to raise them, despite some percieved 'defects'.
I can't even wrap my head around the concept of someone suing their parents for their own existence. Everyone has problems. Lots of disabled people live fulfulling lives - find out what those people are doing differently and do it.

I'm sure some liberal piece of **** lawyer would be all over this one but, in a realistic sense, I think the case would be laughed out of the court room.
