I am against it and The NAFTA super highway. It's goal is to make 1 nation out of The U.S.A, Canada and Mexico. The super highway will run through North America and make it very simple for immigrants to come in (the billions needed to make will be comeing out of your tax money). There would even be 1 currency, the Amero.

so what do you think, it's ok I can accept different opinions but I think the NAFTA needs to be stopped immediatly and immigrants must be deported. But that is just 1 of the problems people of all 3 countries will face. I don't want to know what will happen to the economy.

American citizens have become so irate with the lack of immigration law enforcement that this NAU is the only way for businesses to operate as usual. It might be the citizens who row the boat, but big businesses are at the rutter.
I am totally against it, and have written all reps signed petitions, and everything I can consider to make others aware of this dilema.
Unfortunately, most Americans are struggling just to survive.

No one has seriously proposed a "North American Union"; none of the three countries have the slightest interest in it. As for the highway, it would be a fine idea if it actually got built; improvements in transportation are always beneficial. As for NAFTA, remember that trade creates value; anything which facilitates trade, as NAFTA does, is good for everybody. As for Ron Paul, he is a nitwit and his campaign is going nowhere.

I feel terrible about it. I feel worse that so many Americans are ignorant about it. Even the few who are vaguely aware do not realize the import (pardon the pun) of its impact on Freedom.

The NAU is just another neo-con agenda that will make the mega-wealthy richer and further impoverish the rest of the country. It also has the pernicious goal of finding justification for modifying the constitution. As long as The People of the United States stand by that great document, they will have a chance at re-establishing their democracy.

As it is, American democracy has been Bushwhacked. He and his fellow conspirators have successfully eviscerated the constitution and its principles. They obviously need a dramatic problem so they can propose a dramatic solution: rewriting history in favor of their agenda. The whole Bush family are fascists. Stop them now! YOUR freedom and YOUR CHILDREN'S FUTURE is at stake! Spread the word. make your fellow Americans wake up!

I pretty much think this is all fiction, but I would be open to some serious discussion of it if it isn't.

Many years ago the U.S. hoped Canada would one day become part of our country. The Canadians had other ideas. At one time Mexico owned much of what is now the U.S. I suspect they might like parts of that back, but a lot would have to happen for the North American Union to be formed. It would take a Constitutional review, probably ratification by the states and I don't see it happening.

It would be an economic disaster for Canada and Mexico to be so closely tied to the US economy at this time. The US dollar is suffering terribly from the govt's irresponsible economic and foreign policies.

I agree to greater cooperation between the U.S.A., Canada and Mexico, but cooperation works BOTH ways.
The U.S. has gone OVERBOARD in the effort to form better economic relations with our neighbors.
The NEXT steps must come from them. Our national security and control of our own areas of safety, responsibility, and national interest MUST COME FIRST.
