I dont get it, if a white women with blond hair and blue eyes interbreeds with a Black, then they will have babies with black skin, black eyes, and black curly hair that only looks good in braids or shaved off.
The child will look nothing at all like the white women, it wont have strait blond hair, or blue eyes or whites skin, and their is a 99% chance than none of her genetic traits will surfece in her childs future offspring, they will be lost forever

So how is it they get the "best of both worlds" it sounds like a pipe dream to me.

Also biracial children have lower IQs then whites
Avg. IQ of a white - 100
biracial - 89
black - 85

Hmmm well I'm biracial, but I am half Asian and half white. My IQ is much higher than any of those statistics and probably higher than yours too.

Personally I wouldn't say we have the best of both worlds, but that's only because it's hard to identify with a race. If I identify with my Asian race too much I'm ignoring my white side and if I identify with my Asian race too much asians view me as a "race traitor" who wishes I was full white. How can you embrace two completely different cultures at the same time?

What people like you need to understand is that interracial dating is only going to become more common and more accepted. Things are changing, and the world is much smaller than it once was. It's easier for the average person to visit foreign countries and to meet all different types of people. Why would you expect people who have actually seen the world to just go back to dating someone who looks and acts exactly like them?

Biracial Children Statistics

First off, the matter of looks is not always dominant on the side of the black parent(or any darker colored skin type for that matter). I'll give you an example:

My mother is white and my father is black and they have four kids.

My mother has pale skin, blue eyes, and grey hair(was curly and brown).

My dad has dark skin, brown eyes, and black hair.

My first brother has light skin(looks white), black curly hair, and green eyes.

My second brother has light skin(like bro one), black curly hair, and grey eyes(they change color)

I'm the third child and I have olive skin, black curly hair, and brown eyes

My younger brother has olive skin, black curly hair, and brown eyes

The point I'm trying to make is genetics has more than just dominant. I'm not trying to talk down to you, but biology provides a lot of explanation for that(the whole Mendel discoveries, as well as dominant, recessive).

Intellect is another trait that carries over from parents. I'm not sure where you got that statistic from, because it doesn't exactly sound correct, but who knows, maybe it is. All four of the kids in my family are on the honor roll, though we're only four people. I guess I wouldn't know about that part.

Hopefully, this doensn't seem like I'm trying to attack you, just proving a point.

I think what people say is the best of both worlds is that we get values from two different racial backgrounds, but that's not necessarily true. We're in the same place as those around us. Maybe a few more hurdles, but it's one world for everyone. There isn't a set list of racial values. Whatever we decide, we just do.

First of all, you have no idea what a mixed child will look like until that child is born. I have seen mixed children with blue, green and brown eyes. I have seen mixed children with natural blond highlights in their dark curly hair. Some mixed children look black, white or a mixture of both. I am mixed and I don't braid my hair. It is black, curly and long. You have no idea what you are talking a bout. We have the best of both worlds because we get to learn two different cultures while we are growing up. You might want to get out in the world and meet some mixed race people. Stop being so ignorant!

I'd personally question your information unless you had valid scientific sources to back it up.

In any case, assuming your question was honest... I think it comes down to this. When people say "the best of both worlds," why do you automatically think of skin color, hair, eyes and IQ? Is this what people are to you?

When choosing friends, do you focus primarily on physical aspects? Do you insist future potential friends take an IQ test before you are willing to associate with them?

I would say that those who say "best of both worlds" are probably not thinking in such shallow terms.

Going back to the IQ comment, again, I have my doubts about your so-called statistics. Even IQ tests themselves are questionable measurements of intelligence, since the grading is based on age... and the questions themselves can often focus on knowledge more than the capacity of thinking, which is what an IQ test implies. The intelligence of a person, while it may be influenced to some degree by genetics, is also likely influenced by environment and attitude. So, IF there DOES happen to be a noticeable trend in IQ between different races, perhaps it has more to do with their environment and attitude... such as self-esteem problems caused by a shallow and judgmental world... than the pigment of the skin.

Bull crap!!! Your obviously racist.

First of all bi-racial people won't have black skin, skin color isn't dominant. And it is very common from bi-racial people to have hazel, blue or green eyes. And their hair more similar the white people hair, it's very nice, and they are able to wear it however they want.

And let me point out : If the mother had kid's with a white man with dark hair and dark eyes, their offspring might not have blonde hair and blue eyes, and might look more like the father than the mother. So this isn't a thing of race!

WHO says the child won't look anything like the mother? They will look like both of their parents.

AND their mothers traits will show up in their kid's offspring, just as much as YOUR mother's genetic traits will show up in your offspring - if you mean that the kid's offspring won't look white and have white traits, it's possible if they have kids with a white person; their offspring would probably look completely white.

And the saying "Bi-racial kid's have the best of both worlds"
It is because they are unique, beautiful, and multicultural. and because of this they are able to understand and respect other races.

Why didn't you give a reference to verify your "statistics"?

YOU CAN'T MAKE STUFF UP TO TRY TO PROVE A POINT!!!

GET AN EDUCATION IDIOT! YOUR IQ is probably in the 10-20 range. Be lucky you have internet in your trailer, or nobody would be able to hear you rant on about your racist uneducated remarks.

This is the most racist, backwards question I've ever had the misfortune of coming across, but I'm going to answer it anyway.

1.) If a white, blond haired blue eyed woman and a very dark African-American male have a child, that child will turn out whatever color the Lord wants them to be. I've met biracial people that are so "Caucasian" looking I would never thought they were half black, some that are just the opposite, and some that are in-between. A friend of mine is half-black, half-white and she has a dark blond hair and pale skin. Some of the most beautiful people in the world are biracial, or multiracial. Halle Berry, The Rock (Dwayne Johnson), Rosario Dawson, Keanu Reeves, and Jessica Alba are just a few that come to mind. You can't predict how a child will turn out, and especially not with your backwards opinions.

2.) There are extremely intelligent people and extremely stupid people of each race. There are black lawyers, doctors and politicians, and there are white people working at Burger King, and vice-versa. IQ tests are very subjective, and dependent on so many factors out of the scientist's control, from environmental factors (excess pollution has been proven to lower IQ) to simply the person's upbringing. For example, if a child of any race is raised in a household where the parent does not encourage them to read books, do their homework, or even go to school at all, then of course that child will not be as intelligent as a child raised in a home environment where their brain will be stimulated.
In my personal observations (and this is a broad generalization, I know, and I apologize in advance), many
whites tend to be more concerned with making sure their kid's get a good education than many blacks. In that type of environment, the white child will obviously come out being more intelligent. You can see this in other IQ studies, where the average person's IQ in East Asia (where the education system is very rigorous) is 105, while the IQ of someone from Serbia is 89.
Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Race_and_intelligence_(test_data)
to the section called "IQ gaps in other nations" if you want to check my facts.

Just for fun: I attend the high school ranked #2 academically in the state of Illinois (I happen to be part black, part Puerto Rican, part white, and part Native American, by the way). The average ACT composite for my school was 26.7 out of 36 in 2006 (the Illinois state average was 20.3 out of 36 in 2006). My school happens to be 37.5% white, and 23.0 % black.
You can check that here: http://research.cps.k12.il.us/resweb/SchoolProfile?unit=1090

3.) As for why people believe biracial children get the best of both worlds, it's simple. They don't have to fit in with any person's disparaging view of what they should or shouldn't be, because they aren't one race. They can choose to be black, or white, or both races, or no race at all, and they don't get the negative stereotypes that come with a certain race. Because they get to choose what race they are, they don't have to deal with people like yourself telling them what black, or Hispanic, or other minority's can or can't do.

there is nothing wrong with the blonde's traits being lost, ok Adolf? and also for your information, i know one girl who's mother is an indian and her father is white, and she's blonde and burns easily. i know another kid who's 1/4 indian and looks full, but his sister is light with medium brown hair. being born blonde isn't everyone's dream sorry to tell you. i know plenty of multiracial kids who are a hell of a lot smarter than you! besides, how can you judge other people by race? judging by my family i'm not 100% white as my grandmother could pass as asian any day. she's eastern european and could have mongolian ancestry for all i know. in that case i'd be pretty smart for not being 100% white, huh? don't judge people, it just lets them know that you're an idiot. maybe multiracial kids do have the best of both worlds, but i've never stopped to ask them something so stupid

I think your statistics are B.S. first off!! lol!! Second, maybe you don't understand what they mean by "The best of both worlds" My kids are biracial and gorgeous! I say they have the "Best of both worlds" because they won't turn out to be ignorant racist like you are. They love everyone and don't JUDGE ppl by the color of their skin. My son's were blessed to have been raised around both sides of their families and know both races.
Your an idiot!! I'm sure your IQ is 30! lol!!
