Who is Jesus and What is His Mission to the World?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Mary. He is both God and Man. His mission was to come to the world as a man and face the struggles that man faced and to over come them. He was to tell the world about His Father. Ultimately he was to die on the cross for the sins of the world. Just like each of us leaves a part of us with those left on earth Jesus’ left part of himself with us. His mission was to spread the good news of god and to make true gods promise to send a messiah in the world to save the world. Jesus did just that. He showed love to the unloved, raised the dead, fed 5000 with 5 fish and 2 loaves of bread, turned water into wine, and triumphed over evil by dying on the cross for the sins of the world and then he rose on the third day and now he sits at the right hand of god the father almighty. He lives as an example to all men who faced temptation and peer pressure yet always chose to do the right thing.

Hey, hon...I'm an English major and I just kinda beefed it up a bit. I hope it's okay for you-I think it's a very good short essay.

Jesus Christ is the son of God and Mary. He was born to Mary and Joseph, but is both God and Man. His mission was to come to the world as a man, face the struggles that man faced and to overcome them. He was to tell the world about His Father;ultimately to die on the cross for the sins of the world. Just like each of us leaves a part of us with those left on earth, Jesus’ left part of Himself with us. His mission was to spread the good news of God and to make true God's promise to send a Messiah into the world to save it. Jesus did just that: He showed love to the unloved, raised the dead, fed 5000 with 5 fish and 2 loaves of bread, turned water into wine, and triumphed over evil by dying on the cross for the sins of the world. He then rose on the third day and now sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty. He lives as an example to all men who faced temptation and peer pressure, yet always chose to do the right thing.

Punctuation & Grammar:
Jesus Christ is the Son of God and Mary. He is both God and man. His mission was to come to the world as a man, face the struggles that man faced and over come them. He was to tell the world about His Father. Ultimately, He was to die on the cross for the sins of the world. Just as each of us leaves a part of us with those left on earth, Jesus left part of Himself with us. His mission was to spread the good news of God and to make true God's promise to send a Messiah to the world to save the world. Jesus did just that. He showed love to the unloved, raised the dead, fed 5000 with 5 fish and 2 loaves of bread, turned water into wine, triumphed over evil by dying on the cross for the sins of the world and then He rose on the third day where He now sits at the right hand of God the father almighty. He lives as an example to all men who face temptation and peer pressure, yet He always chose to do the right thing.

As for the content of what you said:
Jesus is the Son of God. He was BORN of Mary. God and Mary did not create Jesus together, which is what that first sentence implies. Also, Jesus did not leave just a "part" of Himself with us. As believers, we dwells within us and thus the call to be "Christ-like" is possible because of this in-dwelling. His mission was not merely to spread the good news of God - it was to spread the gospel (The Good News), which is that Jesus is the Son of God and came to bear the sins of all so that we could have peace with God. You stated that He triumphed over "evil" - He actually triumphed over death...not evil. All in all, you did good job of summing up Jesus in 200 words. Very direct, but try to tie your toughts together - there are a lot of short simple sentences.

His mission was to come to the world as a man, face struggles and over come them. [works better]
Ultimately to fufill the prophasies he had to die upon the cross, in order to save the world of their sins.
His mission was to spread the good news of god and to make true gods promise to send a messiah in the world to save the world [no period here use a comma instead to many periods hurt your paper] Jesus did just that.

and triumphed over evil by dying on the cross for the sins of the world only to rise again on the third day, and take his rightful play at the right side of our father.

This is pretty good, but are you home schooled, or go to catholic school?

Try not using so many period, it makes your work uneasy to read to do so many stops.

"Who is Jesus? What is his Mission to the world?"*
*what and world don't take capitals unless to start.a new sentence, "His" for deity may be capitalised of respect, but it is perhaps odd to do so when "Who is Jesus?" is the question, if it's a real question.

There's a missing "Many believe" or "I believe" or "According to Christian doctrine" at the start of the passage. There are other views of Jesus. What you state is not universally accepted as fact.

"over come" should be one word

"those left on earth Jesus’ left..."
"those left on earth, Jesus left..."

"...of god and to make true gods promise "*
"...of God and to make true God's promise"
*if you are to stay consistent with capitals, plus the apostrophe.

"messiah in" => "messiah into"

"god the father almighty" Capitals? Pick one style or the other.

The last sentence is unclear. Is it meant to be:
"Having always chosen to do the right thing despite temptation and peer pressure, He lives as an example to all men who face similar trials."
or
"He lives as an example to all men who, facing temptation and peer pressure, always chose to do the right thing."
