I believe there is more to existence than can be easily explained by charts, graphs, mathmatic equations or scientific reasoning.
My experiences could be explained away by wishful thinking but my gut knows the difference! I will share one story:
My dad, after a long illness, passed away at age 57 from heart failure. I was with him through thick and thin, he was my main emotional support and I his, and our personalities were very similiar. One silly joke we had was that each year he would call me on my birthday early in the morning to be the 1st to wish me happy birthday. 7am, 6am no matter what- he wanted to get to me before my brother!
He died on December 11th and on my next birthday- Dec 31, I woke up at 12:01am from a sound sleep ( and I sleep like a rock!) to the loud, abnoxious voice of my dad singing happy birthday to you! At first I was scared, and then the sound of his fading laughter whispered through my room and I just cried. And laughed! He had really gotten the earliest call that time. It never happened again, no matter how much I wish it would and it's been 12 years. I think the energy that formed his love for me lingered or came back for that connection. Or maybe I imagined it. No matter, it was love, pure and simple and it came from him.

I have. I was 8 years old. We lived in a very old house in the country. I shared a room with my little brother. One night we went to bed and I could see weird geometrical shapes moving above my door - I told my Dad and he said "don't worry, there's nothing there, go to sleep". I did but woke up in the night. Standing at the foot of my bed were three people - one was a man with one of those little English style golf/driving caps on - I can't remember what the other two looked like. I was so scared I didn't dare move - I held my blankets tight and closed my eyes. I guess I fell asleep. In the morning I told my Dad - he was EXCITED!! He said, oooh, next time you see them, say hello and ask them who they are!!! I just prayed I never would see them again. I didn't. Another night I felt something touching my leg through the sheets - nothing there. I didn't like that house.

I have not actually seen a ghost, but I have seen the effects of a ghost. Jesus said a ghost has no bone or flesh as he had. It is not good to see a ghost as it will have a negative impact on your mind. A ghost when you see one invokes FEAR. Look at the disciples of Jesus when they saw his white form walking on the water thought that he was a ghost.
And you can only overcome fear with love (the God kind).

For many months after my dog was put to rest, I clearly heard his foot steps "trip trap" around my room at night, in exactly the same way he used to go.

I've seen Shadow People. Many of you have but you just didn't know there was a name to this phenomena.

I talked with my husband a few days after he died. He'd promised to come back and explain how it is. Does that count?
