South Park
Age: Nope
Time spent watching: Go figure
Why: Family Guy was good for 3 seasons, South Park just got better over time, Family Guy is kinda gay in that most plot are similar to the Simpsons (im not gonna say stolen, because that isnt right)

I'm 24 and I love both "South Park" and "Family Guy", but I don't watch them on TV. I buy all the DVD seasons and watch those. I love both, but I definitely prefer South Park. The comedy is smarter, and they actually have a plot and story that unravels in each episode, rather than a series of interchangeable jokes. Also, Family Guy can be a bit liberal at times, but I find the messages and viewpoints in South Park much more relatable. Matt Stone and Trey Parker are heroes.

Those are my favorites also. I would have to say South Park is funnier. Every single character is hilarious. On Family Guy, the only ones that make me laugh are Quagmire, Stewie, and Peter. 28, and watch it every Sunday.

I'm 14 years old and I watch South Park a lot more. They're both good shows, but South Park is a lot of times more complex, and funnier, so I think it's better.

Family Guy is funnier because they rely on really funny stuff and not so many vulgar jokes. It is a cross between Simpsons and the Flintstones but more current. Making the baby (Stewie) the direct opposite of Maggie was a stroke of genius. Essentially the Mother and Father characters, Peter and Lois, are the same as Marge and Homer. The older son, Chris is a direct opposite of Bart but those elements are present in Stewie. Meg (the middle child, also a girl like Lisa) is a shunned and confused girl with a lot of teen angst very much like Lisa in that she is friendless because of an identity crisis and is very sensitive.
Homer Simpson working in a nuclear power plant is no mistake because the whole show is a mockery of the last 'nuclear family.' Peter working in a toy factory gives us the insight that he has never grown up. (The difference between men and boys is the size of their toys.) Lois is the same as Marge, a stay at home Mom, but she does teach piano.
I can't give you an exact amount of time I spend watching, it's catch as catch can for me. I watch when it is convenient. I am in my early 40's.

I'm 17, and watch either on and off.
Family Guy is funnier because Peter is INCREDIBLY FAT AND STUPID. He must weigh over 300 pounds...
Anyways, Family Guy is funnier than South Park because more people can relate to it. It revolves around a family with an extremely idiotic father.

17, Family Guy because it parodies current events and is generally more humorous than stupid jokes in South Park. I watch Family Guy about one episode a week.
