I'm 5'9" maybe 10" & I absolutely will not date a guy that is shorter than me...am I alone on this one?

When I mean shorter I mean alot shorter. More than an Inch or two.

thats cool caz i perfer a girl to be shorter than me or same height. i guess it levels everything out. girls perfer someone taller and guys perfer someone shorter. who gets caught in the middle? short men and tall women....

Don't ever say "absolutely not", Jessica. I swore when I hit 5'10" that I would never consider any boy shorter than me, and when I finished college at 6 foot, I kept that standard high. Then a 5'2" guy walked into my life and we had the best 5 years I have ever spent. His height never mattered--we made jokes about it to other people--and when he died, I lost a major part of my heart. Love doesn't pay attention to tall or short so don't turn away the shorter man. He may have a big heart and adoring eyes.

um not big on shorter guys either cause you know im almost your height and frankly i think it would be werid and most of the guys i know (even though they are huge 6 foot plus) they say that it would be wierd dating a girl thats taller then them but you know if you get that hole "connection" thing then go with it my friend Casey is 4'9" tall and her boyfriend is atleast 6'6" tall if thats not a hieght difference then what is but i guess its different between boys and girls who knows? but again its taht whole connection thing i guess
me personaly i dont like the idea of it

i'm short, 5"3, but i'd still date a guy shorter.
but.. my friends who are taller (around 5'7 to your height) agree with you.
they wouldn't date a guy alot shorter than themselves.
i think, and tell me if i'm right, that the reason for that is you don't want to be self concious about your height, and if you date a guy a lot shorter you might feel extra tall. and no one wants to feel like they stick out.
(thinking about it now, i probably wouldn't date a guy taller than 5'9 ish because i'd feel very very very extra short. and i wouldn't want to be self concious about that)

LOL you sure got the guys riled up. Personally I have to agree with them. You're very conceited. Get off that high horse, dear. The world doesn't work that way. Life is an educational experience. Don't start it with preconceived ideas.

im 5'10'' and have in the past dated a guy shorter than me. its no good trust me. the machanics of it all are so totally wrong! it may be shallow but if you want to wear a cute pair of heals, dont do it!

Wow, your shallowness is ridiculous. That's like a guy saying he "absolutely will not" date a girl who is over 150 pounds (or whatever). See how immature that sounds?
