Hi Wisdom,
You are right that humans do not deserve to live on this earth.
God said the same thing a couple of times. The first time, He decided to destroy the earth & all the humans because no one deserved it. Except for one good man — Noah. God told Noah to build a large boat — an ark. He & his family had to bring 2 of every type of animal, bird, etc. that existed.
Then God made it rain for 40 days & 40 nights. He destroyed every human & everything on earth. Then the floods dried up. Noah & all his family plus all the animals filled up the world again. God promised He would never do that again.
But the people kept doing wrong all the time. He wanted to destroy the earth again, but someone reminded Him of His promise. So He agreed not to destroy earth & all the people in it again.
This time, instead, He saved us. He sent His son, Jesus, down to earth in the form of a human, a perfect one. Jesus could work miracles, heal the sick, make the blind see again, raise the dead. Jesus also tried to teach people how to behave & how to treat each other He tols 12 men to follow Him. They were His 12 disciples.
His greatest gift to us was to save us, so that we might go to Heaven. Instead of killing all the humans on earth, God let His own Son be killed in our place. So, all who follow Jesus" teachings will be saved & go to Heaven.
His teachings are beautiful. The most important is to love God & put no one in front of Him. The second is for us to love each other. Love your neighbor. Everyone is our neighbor.
God, who is all-powerful, was patient & did not destroy all. We, who need to be far more humble, should pray more & meditate more on the virtues that we are trying to learn.
We need to forgive ourselves too, because we make mistakes. But if God is willing to forgive us when we are sorry, we should be able to forgive ourselves too.
Patience, compassion, slow to anger, tolerance & so many more are what we should focus on when we feel like giving up, feel that there is no use in trying.
There is always hope. There is always peace. There is always faith. There is always charity. There is much work to be done. We must always start with ourselves.
Peace.

Noo, don't. This planet may be all screwed up, but we still haven't acknowledged our faults yet. The way i see it, its this big journey that we are on. Most of humanity is still young, or probably regressing...
You all think we should die, we probably should, but without a shot at redemption? What about all the young people like me? We still got maybe 80-90 years ahead of us. If its anything we humans deserve, its a chance to confront ourselves.
They say in psychology or something the hardest person to know is ourself. Stuff like that. Right know, we don't want to admit global warming is our responsibility probably for the same reason we dont want to admit that we cheated on our tests or wrote bull on our homework. The consequences and responsibilities scare us enough to want to go back to our mothers wombs.
If we don't deserve to live anymore, i can understand. There hasn't been a natural catastrophe (forgive my spelling) in a long time. The dinosaurs reached their apex before being wiped out, so have we. Besides, its all over soon. I actually love being alive though, but if it happens it happens i guess, no stopping it. My whole life of learning, gone because of the actions of older people. Thats so unfair. But if the catastrophe is independent of our actions, i guess thats ok...
Don't be to cynical, Don't just have faith in humanity(dont bring religion into this, please), DO SOME ******* THING AND CLEAN UP THE EARTH. If one person starts, and more follow, everyone will follow. People have more courage when feel less alone. (i use to be cynical and pessimistic, i dont do drugs, not even flu medicine, or at least i try not to...)

Ole mother earth is about to have a convulsion...in about 7 years....so you may get your wish. Humans do deserve the earth, it is made for them and they will soon and most likely later learn how to take care of it and then they be able to move on in the greater universe.

I agree with you that many do not deserve to be here but you have to understand that there are so many good people that deserve to be here. I think that people just need to wake up and realize what they are doing to this planet that god has created for us. In gods own time when he thinks that the earth needs to be put to an end he will do so, it is for no one else to decide.

I think you need to read the Bible and see that there are humans that deserve it.
And that God, not no mother, gave the earth to mankind. And that God will bring to ruin those ruing the earth.
Oh BTW, don't think that you would be exclude from the destruction, you so wish for. Only God has the capability to have a just destruction, one where only the ones deserving get destroyed and those not deserving survive.
But some freaky, imitation of God, would never be so fair.

Now, personally I like to put question marks after...you know...questions.
but hey....
I'm sure Momma Celeste is a perfectly wonderful transcendental entity, but she's completely misguided if she thinks humans need help destroying earth.
Are you sure you've thought through this "Earth should be destroyed because we're destroying it" concept?
Because when I think someone doesn't deserve my time, I really don't think about destroying time.

Well, I don't believe in heaven or mother of it, but if you're talking about who I think you're talking about, in the myth she's not a destroyer.
If you're talking about the Christian god, doesn't the myth say that he will send the Archangel Gabriel to blow the last trump and destroy the earth? Get your myths straight.

I agree with the last part- we dont deserve mother natures gifts because as caregivers to this planet we are not doing a great job.
But destruction?
